“Haykyan” Dance Group

“Haykyan” is not just a dancing initiative, but also serves as a vital bridge between our rich Armenian heritage and contemporary community life at the Dilijan Community Center. Our mission is to preserve and revive traditional Armenian song and dance while creating an inspiring environment where women can find spiritual renewal and cultural connection outside of their everyday duties. This project has become a cornerstone of cultural preservation, where each session strengthens participants’ connection to their Armenian identity.

With the support of DVV International and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, we have built not just a dance group, but a cultural hub that empowers women while preserving our national artistic heritage.
