Tatev Community Center

In 2023, the DCC, in collaboration with the Tatev Community Municipality of Syunik Province, established its second branch in Halidzor village, Tatev community, Syunik Province. The Tatev Community Center was founded and operates with the support of the Ruben Vardanyan Foundation.

Since 2023, the Center has implemented the following main programs:

  • English
  • Russian
  • Painting – in collaboration with the National Center of Aesthetics named after Henrik Igityan
  • Volunteer Group
  • Computer Literacy

The volunteer group at Tatev Community Center brings together around 30 young people from various localities (Halidzor, Khot, Shinuhaer). Volunteers regularly lead initiatives such as chess, traditional dance, financial literacy, media literacy, and other courses aimed at developing the skills of youth and community members.

The Center collaborates with several local organizations:

  • Tatev Community Municipality
  • “We Are Our Mountains” Development Agency NGO
  • Goris State University
  • Regional branch of the Armenian Center for Human Rights Protection NGO in Syunik
  • “Nexus” Art Center

Within the collaboration with the “We Are Our Mountains” Development Agency NGO, the “Tever for All” program was implemented, aimed at improving the entrepreneurial thinking and capacities of forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh and local residents.

From 2023 to January 1, 2026, the Tatev Community Center has implemented 79 programs and community events, engaging 2,779 beneficiaries.
